Quick one Brod...

In the RSA/PAK ODI yesterday, Abdur Razzaq hit a century with ten sixes.

Is that (the ten sixes) an ODI record?

Abdul Razzaq - (109* - 72 balls)

Razzaq finished with a strike rate of 151.38, which is the second-highest among 100-plus scores in ODIs against South Africa, next only to Ricky Ponting's 164 off 105 balls in Johannesburg in 2006 (strike rate 156.19).

This was Razzaq's first 50-plus ODI score in more than four years, and his first century since September 2004.

•Vettori needs 38 runs to become the third allrounder after Kapil Dev and Ian Botham to have 4000 runs and 300 wickets

•If Dravid takes a catch of Harbhajan's bowling, it would be the 50th time the pair have been involved in a dismissal. They would become the fourth pair in Tests to do so: Muralitharan-Jayawardene (77), Kumble-Dravid (55) and Warne-Taylor (51). Dravid needs two more catches to become the first player to hold 200 catches in Tests.

•Sachin Tendulkar needs one more hundred to make it 50. If he hits two fifties in this series it will be his 13th against New Zealand and with it, he will join Javed Miandad who has scored the most 50s against New Zealand.

Those are two fantastic achivements by a guy who is now amongst the greatest cricketers ever. He's such tough competitor and never leaves anything in the tank. He's one guy you'd just love to play with, he always gets the best out of himself and never backs down from a fight. By far the best cricketer NZ has ever produced.

- Harbhajan Singh scored his maiden century in his 88th Test, which is third in the list of most matches taken by a player to reach his first Test century, behind Anil Kumble and Chaminda Vaas who took 118 and 97 Tests respectively.

- Harbhajan's fifty and hundred in the first Test made him only the second No.8 batsman in history to score a fifty and hundred in the same match.

- The 163 run partnership for the seventh wicket between VVS Laxman and Harbhajan is the best ever seventh wicket stand for India against New Zealand and their seventh best in Tests.

- New Zealand last won an away Test not involving Bangladesh or Zimbabwe in 2002 when they beat West Indies at Bridgetown. Overall, they have won one Test and lost 18 of the 31 played since Jan 1 2000.

- Laxman's average of 51.17 in the second innings in Tests is the second best among Indians behind Sunil Gavaskar and the eighth best among all batsmen to score over 2000 runs in the second innings.

- Tim McIntosh's pair in the first Test was the eighth for a New Zealand opener overall and the first against India.

Hmm, yes good point Brod he's an absolute legend. Guess we'll let the good people over in NZ argue about who is their best ever. Vettori is certainly one of my favourite cricketers.

Got one for you Brod...

Reading another thread about strong NSW Shield sides, got me thinking...

Has it ever been the case that all 11 players in a side were Test players?

With his 13th century, Smith is now level third with Neil Harvey and Gary Kirsten in the list of left-handers with most hundreds in away/neutral Tests. Brian Lara leads with 17 followed by Allan Border with 14.
