Even Kasper doesn't know when to put a sock in it.

4/164 off 24

Dhoni out to McKay last over by a freak of a catch from Voges at Backward POint.

Also in that over, Raina dropped at 1 1/2 slip off Cameron White. (1st time iv ever seen him drop a slips catch). Was difficult but expected to be taken.

Clint McKay should have had 3 fa, but only has 2 fa.

Tendulkar 95* off 75.

Has hit 3 sixes in his last 10 balls or so. I refuse to sleep while tendulkar is in. This is one of the best innings i have seen so far in ODI cricket.

Sachin brings up his ton off just 81 balls.

Score is 4/187 off 27 overs.

Raina on 19 off bugger all balls.

Also his fastest hundred ever against Australia out of his 9. Most centuries by a person against one nation in ODIs. This is something i am glad iv witnessed. Well batted Sachin

Classic Aussie mongrel win. Finding 6 wickets when there were none to be had, with stuff all in the way of experience in the bowling.

Yeah NFC, got to hand it to Watson. Two gunnish all round performances in a row. Would've had two MOTM awards in a row easy if not for Sachin "party pooper" Tendulkar. :p

Like the look of McKay. Looks like a test bowler to me, give him a go Australia!

BTW, Hilfy is clearly not an ODI bowler.

McKay was super tonight, really, really good. I thought with a ripping pitch and Sachin carving he could potentially be hammered but he kept it together the entire time and came away with 3 wickets and went for less thasn 6 rpo. Fine debut. :D

Yeah Hilf should be locked in for tests, free that ODI spot for someone like McKay to get a permanent gig. Really starting to wonder how our test attack will look this summer. On test form Hilfy should be the first paceman picked, but then you've got Mitch out of form, Lee probably putting the hand up (and the selectors/punter love him), Siddle, Bollinger....I'd find a spot for McKay but you'd doubt the selectors would. Just think we need to find someone to fill the Clark role. Clark himself doesn't have the pace to worry batsmen on flat decks anymore but we saw in Headingley that his sort of control can trigger collapses.

Tendulkar. What genius. Wish I'd seen it.

India = mentally fragile. For us to have even three victories is a massive feat given how decimated the team is, top stuff.

The turning point India 4 down, within a run a ball
Tendulkar and fatso in full flight
Enter the chosen one who bowls 1 over and takes 2/1
That man Shane Watson who is now taking wickets
I never thought he was a good bowler, but thats changed

What a game by the 2 champs
Tendulkar 175 , thats the best ODI innings Ive ever seen
Watto 93 and 3 for less than 50 on a batting paradise

We have them 3-2 down and now keep the number 1 OD team rating irrespective of the last 2 games

Limit them to when countries are actually touring a country in a Test Series
For example we had 7 games after the ashes
So it was a tour of tests ODIS and 20/20
Thats fine
But for teams to go to another country to play 7 games of only ODIs is absurd
The only time any country should go to play ODIS[without a test match itinery] is in world cups and champions cups

Going to India just seems to me to be driven by the allmighty $$$$$$
Its been highlighted perhaps some Aussie players are tired
Its been highlighted by a spate of injuries

The injuries are one thing and debateable
But the overiding factor is 2 many series in 2 short a time for the players who are required to play in all the games

The players are the entertainers, the money spinners for the cricket boards
They need to be looked after instead of frolicking around the world on working holidays for the boards

okay mal - and everybody else- i will explain this to you again.

the reason australia are playing one day matches in india now is becaus ewhen we toured there for the tests in around october 2008 we didnt play any one day matches on that tour because we had to get back to our summer to play against south africa and then head over there to south africa to play teh 2nd half of that series, so these one day matches are no more money driven than any other it is a catch up from a previously 'missed' one day series which qwouldve coincided with test matches.

the reason it is 7 matches is becuase every team that had to come here used to have to play a minimum of 8 matches during the tri-series so this is equitable payback for that

Okay MAY-Z and hardly anyone else
If you cant cram in the first batch of ODI games against India about a year ago and have to cram them in a year later you know what that means ???????????????????????????
WE PLAY TOO MANY ONE DAY GAMES
Exactly the points I am making
And why do they have or want too many ODI games ????????
Becoz itsa $$$$$$$ hungry exercise

When the 5th bowler WATTO bowls well we seem to win
After getting citizen caned the last 2 games WATTO pulled out a match winning spell

To be 2-2 all with all the injuries is a great effort by the boys

Make that 3-2 and the 2 games Watto bowled poor we lost
