yep we have bowled rubbish so far today.

You know what I can't understand about contemporary bowlers? They do all this exaggerated pre-match warm up, bowling, running, stretching, fielding, etc .... then they get out in the middle and have to bowl warm up deliveries :?

I used to touch the toes a couple of times and could hit the spot with the first ball.

By the way, Hauritz is not a Test bowler.

It's the temptation to blame Hauritz, but it's more accurate to blame those that pick him.

Im not blaming Hauritz, but he is not a wicket taker, he isn't bad at keeping the runs down, but we need a wicket.

Forget about calling Hauritz "Horry", his new nickname is Smorgasbord .... self serve runs.

How about we forget about playing a spin bowler until we have one that is any good. Hauritz, Krezja, McGain, Cullen, Bailey, Heal etc. are all crap. If they aren't good enough leave them out. I'm pretty sure Ricky would like to have Stuart Clark to bring on right now.

Another no ball by Hauritz. He's useless.

probably about 50 more runs than they should have got.

Makes it very hard for Aus now, we probably need around 500+ to be a chance considering we are batting last on this already turning wicket. If we are to score around that the Draw will be the most likely outcome IMHO.

For me it's hard to see Aus winning this test match now, though a draw wouldn't be a bad result considering our preparation.

Thank God for that ... I wouldn't have been able to stand the whingeing from you guys much longer. ;)

Unless I'm mistaken, you normally don't know that state of play until both teams have completed their innings ... if the Aussies get rolled for 300 odd, then yep, in big trouble, but if they make 500+, well that's a different story.

Let's see what the rest of the day holds. :)

I was thinking of blaming him myself, until I realised he can only do out there what he can. ;)

That aside, Australia bowled thourough rubbish this morning, there's no escaping that no matter what happens for the rest of the Test.

He did take 3/95 in the first innings of a test match, an average of just over 30 (if all the bowlers did that we would have bowled them out for 300) for a spinner is not to bad.

He took more wickets and a better economy than Siddle, who alot of people thought bowled well.

To be honest i don't think he bowled "that" bad

Your right it isn't, but it doesn't guarantee a win either ... no doubt it's 50-100 more than we wanted.
