I'm being serious, I have questioned Greig's eye-sight for quite some time. He makes statements like "the ball clearly missing leg stump", etc, and I'm sitting there thinking "huh"? There are time when clearly he either cannot see what happened, or he just isn't watching.

His eyesight coupled with the fact he is just incredibly stupid is the factor behind such baffling mistakes on his behalf.

Siddle and krejza both look very comfortable i can now see why Krejza went in ahead of Johnson he is techinically pretty sound by the looks of things. Although it is a little worrying how easy it is looking for them knowing we will be bowling soon.

Agree. The good thing is we've got the total up to 370 when at one stage it looked like 250 could be a struggle.

...And we're all out with Siddle nicking one to the keeper.

10/375

A good contribution from the bowlers

Lee 29
Krejza 30
Johnson 18
Siddle 23

certainly made it a defendable target.

Proteas will be a little dirty i think. With their pace attack they shouldnt have that much trouble dismissing lee, Johnson, Siddle and Krejza no matter how good a deck it is. Should have been chasing 300 IMO after their start.

Good knock by the Kat and Pup again steadying the ship.

Australia continues to get good contributions from the tail. The 100 the 4 bowlers got in this match between them could prove absolutely crucial in the context of the match.

Johnson just doesn't seem to trouble the batsmen, i would prefer to see Siddle open the bowling.

That was quick from Johnson, 151.2kmph but agreed, not making the batsmen play enough as usual.

Ponting has to get Johnson off, he is useless, down leg side, easy leg glance for four.

I have also noticed this happening a lot lately. He makes some pretty strange calls which gives me a laugh but his eye sight must be shot. With that Johnson wicket he kept going on and on about him being bowled, he was adamant that's how he was dismissed despite Boucher appealing for LBW... If the stumps were broken he would have run down the wicket to celebrate with the bowler surely.

Good batting by Krazy and the Riddler this morning (game time) to get us to a very respectable score after being 3/15. An early wicket or two now would be nice...

My gut feeling is Siddle will be the most dangerous of the bowlers today. Looking forward to seeing what he offers up.

Haha spot on mate! First wicket down and it's McKenzie, skied it off Mitch and an easy catch for Siddle.

Ridiculous comment. They failed once and your into them already! Bit of faith mate! We dont need to bring up the strike rates of test crickets best batsmen do we?
My point was that against Australia you cant get through a tough period and not push singles, as the next bowler will maintain the same amount of pressure.

How did he end up REB :D

I'd beg to differ on the failed once.
Our top order's been very inconsistent of late.
Sadly, Hayden's form's not been great, setting us up a little.
