Couldn't get there today so I was watching the live stream this morning and I've now just checked the scores for the first time in a few hours, wish I hadn't. This is not good.

Victoria done for ball tampering just before tea.

We hit a 4, then as Mick Lewis, their bowling coach, was picking the ball up to throw it back, he scraped the ball along the gutter. That was their second warning for it. Not sure what their first warning was for

Not quite quitting time yet. We have a lead, we have recognised batsmen at the crease still so there's every reason to think we can build on the lead. If we get even 200 in front, it's enough for hope. Hopefully, with an overcast day and a late day 4/early day 5 pitch our seamers will prove a huge handful. Just got to at least give them enough to play with. I think if we get through to stumps without losing more the game is still a lot closer to 50/50 than it might seem.

One positive no matter what we we look at this is the form of Weatherald. We've been aching for an opener all season and he looks like a top find.

Disgusting. If he's been caught red handed he should be forced to bowl unchanged for the rest of our innings as punishment.

Seriously though, got to be sacked.

Apparently the first warning was what Lewis did in the 10th over. Something else then happened in the 14th over for the second warning

Agreed, he's played two impressive yet differing knocks. Hopefully he hangs round for a fair whack of tomorrow.
