Carn the Jellys!

NT used to be a part of SA so we should just act like we're playing at home in Alice we'll probably have the locals onside ;)

There is at least 2 of their grade cricket ovals free that I know of and the grounds at some of their colleges are better than our district ovals.
Even the Vics are complaining as there some decent grounds in Ballarat and Albury available

How about Junction Oval or the St. Kilda Cricket Ground? Kardinia? Every single district ground in Melbourne?

NT or Victoria, I don't care. We're playing away either way. Let's just belt them on whatever dung heap they want to present.

It's a huge difference IMO.
I like to attend SS games and would love to go. I like many others from SA will be in Melbourne next weekend for the footy and F1 and reckon we would of had some good support for the lads over there. It sucks that the SS has degenerated into almost a third rate comp and the best cricketers in the state don't get to play at their home of cricket.
I'd just imagine the reaction of a footy supporter if they were told the GF had to played in Alice so a minor round SS game can be held at the MCG.

So does Richo miss? Head wrote in the tiser that he was being rested to make sure he was right for the final if they made it.

Junction Oval deemed not suitable for First Class cricket.....which is a political move by Cricket Victoria to get money for an upgrade.

I tbought why haven't the Vics played at the Junction Oval for awhile and it's still being redeveloped as far as I'm aware?

Same thing happened to Western Australia in 2015 when Victoria ' hosted' the Final in Tasmania.

If the home state can't provide a ground the second-placed team should get to host the game.

Totally agree
100% no brainer
Surely its better to play it somewhere , where the game will attract some interest from spectators than play it somewhere where only a few stray people and their dog will wander in to have a gawk?

Almost 400 wasn't it?

Yep- chasing 396 for the win.

Chasing 403 to win.

V7 , I understood your post
The irony of this was New South Wales were dismissed for 396 !

This is absolutely spot on.

Surely the Vics enjoyed last year? Playing the game in front of a couple of thousand spectators each day. Was a terrific atmosphere down there. Plus they won so it's not a traveling graveyard for them.
