2016/2017 Big Bash League

Zampa might have had his secret exposed. Snaps his handle after smashing his bat on the ground. Fairly confident in saying he saws through the front 3rd of his handle near the base. This gives the bat a rebound effect and launches the ball off the bat. The bat wouldn't snap cleanly like that if the handle was legit.

**Had a bat once and did that. Was like batting with a rocket launcher!

He's got Dunk covered but a long way short of the other 'keeper in the game, IMO

On 'keepers though, how bad was Nevilles drop last night. Not so much that he dropped it - that happens - but how hard his hands were, no give at all. It was like the ball hit a brick wall and dropped down.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

In Neville's defence, the pitch was wet and skiddy, so it was probably onto him quicker then he expected.

I reckon Jono Dean needs to be dropped, I'd replace him with Lehmann ;)

Same old same old, Head comes in, Oppo brings spin on from both ends and we go at 4 an over. Cant afford to play someone who is so inept at dealing with 2nd rate part time spinners from grade cricket.

Hodge is either 1 or 4. In T20 cricket you must be able to run 2's and pressure the fieldsmen. I do rate Hodge tho

Never heard the term body-slam being used by a commentator to describe a batsman hitting a six, WTF?

Pollard just as bad at facing the quicks as Head is the spin. Just bowl half trackers at the body and he wont score.
We need to get both Head and Pollard batting at the same time so at least one of them gets some bowling to their liking
