Is Chadd Sayers asking for a ticket to England this year? Leading Shield Wicket taker and currently tearing NSW a new one!

Was just having this discussion with my brother.

I would think he is behind the following:

Peter Siddle
Mitchell Starc
Mitchell Johnson
Jackson Bird
James Pattinson

Possibly behind:
Patrick Cummins
Nathan Coulter-Nile
Ben Cutting
John Hastings

For him to get right up there, i would think the red backs need to make the final, and then perform strongly in the final. Wickets/Runs in finals count for a lot more IMO

X2 despite a great shield season he would still be comfortably behind the 'big 5' and then Pat Cummins in selectors minds

Not too sure about that hammers. We can't play the swinging ball for 5hit. We are going to get our arses handed to us on a plate over there.

Disagree. They are ahead in pacemen as well IMO, but the gap is not as large as with the batsmen.

I don't think we will win the Ashes but our bowling attack is more likely to take 20 wickets in England than in India

I hope so but I don't think so. Cook, Bell and Trott will send many an Australian fan to bed with their exciting batting this winter.

At least he is good to watch though. He also gives you a chance to get his wicket, especially early. The top three don't give you squat.

Bell ain't top three in tests.

We have a chance to expose trot extremely early with the new opening partner of cooks
