The Worlds no 1 authoritarian on cricket posted this b4 the match started
WN1AOC got it right
Perhaps he could offer an explanation was to why Clark put the opposition in

Got me confused why Clarke put the Sri Lankans in
Unless Australia bat well in their first innings , it now gives Herath an opportunity to bowl last on this deck

Perhaps Clarke thought the deck would be more bowler friendly on day 1 than it ended up ?

Perhaps because he was given 4 quicks , thats why he chose to bowl first ?

Best to leave it to WN1AOC to answer , he predicted Australia will want to bowl first

because the wicket, to Clarke, looked like it would suit his bowlers & Australia would bowl out the opposition cheaply.....which we did. Now we need to make 400 plus, if we do, we will win. Sydney isn't the spinner's minefield that it used to be.

This is where we will falter as we do not have enough batsmen. We will be lucky to make their score. And if we fall 100 short it will be game on with the Sri Lankan’s bowling last.

You're **** joking aren't you?! You suggesting we will struggle to hit 200!? Why? Because we are missing the most over rated all rounder Watson?!

you're wrong commentators, the fielder isn't fielding at cover point, he's at point AND he wasn't walking toward the centre of the pitch, he was walking at 90 degrees to where he is fielding.

I do admire Cowan's grit with the bat but he must sharpen up on a few aspects of his game if he wants to remain a regular. His running between the wickets is diabolical and his fielding is terrible, needs to polish up on both

IMHO he's not up to Test standard and is lucky there is a dearth of quality batsmen around at the moment ...

As an aside, Steve Waugh's catch A should have been deemed a 6.
