Hey whufc, what's Smith's ODI average compared to Fergs. I haven't bothered to check but fairly sure Ferg is ahead. And which one keeps on getting looked at?

Have u thought what else smith adds to the side especially considering that either one will bat at 7 when playing. So Smith being close to the best fielder in the country and occasionally he can chip in with a couple of overs with the ball (admittedly his bowling is average) also his batting strike rate is a lot better which is what you want from a number 6-7

We are also talking about shield / test cricket aren't we

I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I posted his stats last year and he averaged almost double in the second innings compared to his first innings.

I wanna see him perform when the games on the line and we are trying to win points not stopping the opposition from getting points
