The difference between the teams is one country hasn't been willing to carry it's fading stars.

Hopefully channel 9 have a 1000 ltd edition signed Tendulkar bats sitting somewhere.

100% agree may get a couple of cheap wickets at the tail and his figures will mask the fact he is finished.

I reckon Hussey's in trouble here, but ruled not out.

Should have been given out, he put his hand up and deliberately stopped the balls flight to the stumps.

What Rubbish ! He had his hand up naturally during his running action and the ball hit it. Simple as that. He never deviated his hand towards the ball and it actually appeared that he was withdrawing his hand at the last second. Completely incidental contact. Typical Indians not accepting the decision and carrying on after the decision was made. No wonder they're always going overtime with their overs. No problem with India appealing, but it simply was NOT intentional contact so NOT OUT was the right decision.

I'm with Dutchy, poor attempt at fending the ball. Should've been given out.

1 - Why is Siddle running around for Victoria while Lee is playing for Australia?

2 - Why is Watson bowling in his first match back after 3 months or more out with hamstring/calf issues when Lee,McKay,Christian,Hilfenhaus,Hussey (x2 if required ) and Doherty are playing and Lee is in the team?

3 - Why is Lee in the team when Siddle, Starc and Harris are on the sidelines?

1. Siddle is average at 50 over cricket and is only being used for the real stuff.

2. Watson is our best bowler

3. Starc is average and Harris should be kept for the real stuff

Get some young quicks in then. Lee wont be around for next WC so piss him off.
Much rather McDermott or Coulter-Nile getting some experience, need to start assembling a side to win the next cup.

Siddle has been our best bowler of the summer, regularly getting wickets early in his spell.

Watson does not need to bowl, I agree he is one of our best, but he simply did not need to bowl yesterday.

Starc is a better long term option that Lee, surely?

India's last roll of the dice to make it into the finals today, must win against Sri Lanka.....

Cricket season really coming to an end now, little interest left in it.
