What does Peter Forrest have to do?
Nearly 600 runs @54 with 3 tons already at shield level. Surely cant be too far away

Does anyone know his Adelaide Oval average?

16 Test 1485 @ 57.11 5x100 5x50

Averages 114.20 against India at Adelaide oval though...

There will be first class cricket before our next Test, so more opportunities for guys to present their case.

Wade will come in for Hackin, so there'll be a couple of lads looking to play for Marsh's spot.
Not necessarily batting three, Ricky may move back up- particularly on current form, but any of Christian, M Marsh, Cooper, Forrest (or any other batsman to blaze some runs)

I was leaning towards DC for his bowling capabilities too, there's plenty of merit in your suggestion aswell though.

The middle order? Ponting, Clarke and Hussey our middle order for the Ashes? I doubt it very much.

Ponting is a series by series proposition, with the West Indies and South Africa to play before England, he is no certainty.

Hussey much the same. 18 months before the Ashes, remember.

Yes as good as Ponting and Hussey have been this summer we are in deep trouble if they are still there in 18 months time

It most certainly is, as scary as Mossy looks he's a pretty placid mellow bloke, god forbid if you upset him though, I've seen the aftermath of some that have tested the waters.
As for James, he was an absolute freak of a kid, whatever he touched he mastered, great lad too, was so close to signing with us last season but didn't want to let us down as he has to go to Stansbury pretty often.

A bit after the event but Warners LBW was fairly adjacent, anyone who says otherwise needs to go back and have another look.

Thursday? I'd think would be a sell out. Might struggle for a walk up.
