What a chokejob by the Redbacks.

They need 6 runs off the last ball so Christian bowls a slow ball that sits up, sheer stupidity.

btw O'Brien's a gimp.

Sensational game. Unfortunately we're on the losing side of it, but far out, how good was that?
Firstly Harris and Ferguson with the bat, then Kohli and Dilshan, and Tait's bowling...

Sucks to lose, but how awesome was that...?

Only and ONLY the Redbacks could manage to lose that game from that position.
Christians' bowling is rubbish. Couldn'tive bowled a worse ball that needed to be hit for 6.
FFS these blokes are professional cricketers - How F**KING hard should it be for them to be able to bowl a yorker 18 inches outside the off stump in a situation like that ? REALLY, how hard should it be for a professional cricketer? Not that hard i would've thought.

Is that the last game that Tait will play for the Redbacks ever ?

I completely agree!!! Professional cricketers, should be able to bowl it up on the toes! Who cares if it goes for 4, as long as it doesnt go for 6!!!

Is that the last game that Tait will play for the Redbacks ever YES, and what a way to finish, 5/31, plus he threw in a beamer just to remind you of the other side of his bowling ?

Just because we are supporters, doesn't mean we can't criticise their performance.. especially when they cough up a win like that!

Im with SMAC
Support your team fellas
This match and competition is a load of crapppppp

SA has sent over a team of South Australians
All 11 players are the ones that play for the state
They played a team with ring ins
Royal Challengers has the following ring ins in the team
GAYLE [WI]
DILSHAN [SL]
VETTORI NZ]
NANNES [WHO KNOWS THESE DAYS]
Yep look at those players, Dilly and Gayle = perhaps the best opening 20/20 combo in the galaxy
Vettori perhaps the best 20/20 spinner in the universe
Nannes an excellent bowler at this format

As for the rest which are Indians I presume are they are team-mates or DONT TELL ME, even from other Indian teams ????

We sent out OUR state team to play 4 ring ins and others who were playing in their home country
And the SA team almost beat the whatever you want to call opposition team
SA should be proud to almost beat the Universe eleven

This is not a competition
This is a working holiday for these teams

As for SA being piss poor, chokers, etc etc
Please guys, dont compare this teams 20/20 form with 50 over + 4 day game form
This 20/20 team have over excelled themselves, not underachieved or choked

Mal, I understand and agree with most of what you wrote, they have excelled through the domestic T20 comp, they have done extremely well in the Champions League when they have played, but sorry the other night was nothing short of a choke, and that is what people are criticising them on.
To hit 214, have the wild thing take 5fa you would back in 99% of sides to win the game. The fact it came down to the last ball and that crap got dished up is frustrating.
Port Power over achieved in 2007, don't hear anyone talking about how they 'excelled', only hear about that last game against Geelong :P

MAL Bangalore were bottom of our group ffs.
The IPL sides are rubbish and the fact is we couldnt defend over 200.
Did notice that NSW finished top of their group and they also fielded a side with no imports and also was minus Bollinger who plays for Chennai but they still find ways to win whilst SA finds yet another way to lose

SA beat NS in the Grand Final of the 20/20 Cup last season Jimbo !

And Bollinger bowling against his team-mates makes a mockery of this series

Watching 20/20 games that are fair dinkum like state v state or nation v nation are great viewing
When the teams have been baarstardised in a money hungryfest , I cant even excite myself to watch

I have not watched one ball in this Champions League as YET

If SA or NW make the Grand Final , you can all Private Message me and let me know when its on
