I think the SACA, the players and the fair majority of SA supporters will disagree otherwise.

I suppose when you have been so success starved that you would remember something like this for a while. Only in SA mate.

We won about 15 minutes ago mate, you don't know where the team is going to go from here, in ALL forms of the game.

What of they go to India and become Champions League Champions, and you don't think the $100K winnings from tonight is good for the state ?

No matter what the expectation or opinion, no state could defeat the Redbacks. It's a title and one to be proud of. I am, that's for sure.

just got home from the match & while it was a complete team effort with a clinical display, i'd like to make a special mention of aaron o'brien as i think his bowling a maiden over in over number 5 was the turning point of the match, great crowd great atmosphere

chuck berry should be appointed coach as he has strategies in cricket, which means we don't look like a rudderless ship

mark waugh made a comment on the broadcast during the preliminary final, yes mark you are correct ''winners are grinners'' ;)

'doctor' stuart clark & his comment about who the redbacks pick to play & who they leave out of the T20 team which i heard tonight on the radio is silly because surely you pick a team to win you the match on any given day & not worry about if i give him a game now it may help him when playing for australia (presuming they make the national team)

well done to the redbacks & i wonder how many of the 27,000+ that were there tonight will front up next saturday for the one dayer ???

was good to see the westies dance troupe lending a hand on the stage  (only joking   )
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Amazing night, what an atmosphere!! Such a buzz around the ground when it got down to about 30 runs needed and everyone realised we were home. Borgas finally delivers, and what a smart knock by Harris.

You beauty!

Great comment, and I'd also like to give a special mention to Christo, who came on to bowl when we were getting tonked around a bit, and his first 3 overs were outstanding. I think he had 3 overs 1/16 or something, and he deserved another with that skied ball that neither Richardson or Lyon wanted to get near.

Great team effort.
