Who is the imbecile that queried the NS declaration !
NS 5/451 DEC
QL 4/49[12]
CARSELDINE 18*
HAZELWOOD 1/24
STARC 3/21

Ive only seen STARC bowl in 1 Franger cup game, and thought he looked OK
QL only had to get past the new ball, and didnt
LAMBERT, BIRD, S SMITH, HENrebIQUES could have been a smorgasboard

Starc will play many, many games for AUS. Genuine swing bowler, decent enough pace, lovely action.

LUNCH DAY3
NS 5/451 DEC
QL 8/410
HARTLEY 125
SIMPSON 84
CUTTING 47*[70]
R HARRIS 43*[28] thats a quick innings so far
STARC 4/65
That stupid declaration is looking sickly now[Smith and Khawaja could have put on another 50 in about 6 overs the way they were batting]
The dynamic duo BIRD/LAMBERT have taken 1/134

_____________________________________________________________
I think KHWAJA will play for Australia one day, hes a very very
organised batsman at such a young age and a clean striker of the ball.
_____________________________________________________________

Thats not NFC or me saying that
QLD keeper batsman Chris Harrtley has made that comment

If KHAWAJA does wear the baggy green it is being said he will be the first Muslim to achieve this

Who knows if WATTO makes big runs in Perth and HUSSEY fails......

Thing about Usman is that he has a lovely technique, a great eye, can hit the ball to all parts of the ground. There seriously doesn't look like many, if any, flaws. He's just got hige upside.

Im not an imbecile after all
NSW 5/451 DEC have lost first innings points
QL after being 5/84
made
468
Ryan Harris at 10 made an amazing score
84[62 balls]

Another declaration gone wrong
Why sides declare with an average bowling attack is beyond me

I understand where your coming from, but the average bowling attack had QLD 5/84 MAL. The declaration was extremely good then and looked great. Terrible finish to the innings tho with an inform Simpson and Hartley starting it!

Yeah i agree he will play a lot for AUS and looks talented, but flaws are generally found out when you hit the international scene! Will be interested to see him alot more on the TV when he represents AUS

Yes they did have them 5/84
Thats becoz NS have a couple of very promising rookie opening bowlers
But fair dinkum the rest of the attack ???
BIRD a good o/d bowler, but a very ordinary 4 day cricket
LAMBERT they keep picking this guy and he cant bowl, looked menacing one spell at adelaide oval when he brutally bowled a barrage of bumpers and eventually picked up the prize wicket of Dan Cullen
S SMITH gets wickets in o/d cricket becoz he has guys parading the boundarys, but in 4 day cricket you wait for the one ball an over garbage he WILL almost certainly bowl, he will improve and could be a very good long term spinning superstar, but right now is easy pickings
HENrebIQUES , handy bowler, but you would face him for a living anytime, more of a batting allrounder

That bowling line up on the current spate of avenues streets and roads the curators are producing will concede 400+ regularly

That last over loss might haunt WA even more
Underated veteran fast bowler Brett Dorey was injured in the frenetic last over
The injury is a torn achilles tendon
The injury ends Doreys season

WA are likely to struggle without Dorey
Dorey was the leading wicket taker in the SS last season
42 wickets @ 24.11

Injuries the achilles HEAL of fast bowlers claims another
