10 openers have batted so far in the current shield games with a highest score of 35 from Whiteman. Australia has an opening bat crisis at the moment with not much light in a long tunnel.

Lehmann back to regular operations following those few innings of runs.

Brazell perhaps done enough to look at more.. McInerney - I completely forgot about him! When was the last time he played? I'm glad he's back in, I like him.
