postage stamp .

Mouse park
All scores at that ground should get an asterix.
Its the equivalent of athletes getting wind assisted times.
Aussies should play at Salisbury North number 2 just to set a world record score

Pontings 140 odd in the 2003 WC Final doesn't count then either??

Asterix
Anything at that ground is inflated.
Finch's innings last night was worth about 140-150.
Australian's always have a disadvantage playing on the big grounds, hence why the Indian's and Saffers have such over inflated averages. Perhaps we should follow their leads and bring the ropes in another 30-40m to boost our averages.
In the WC this year you will see the differance, games in Aus will probably average 250, games in NZ probably 300+

Would of thought after that they might have brushed up on the D/L law so they didnt get humiliated in their home tournament.
Went into that tourny on the back of 18 straight wins for memory.
We also had the semi choke against Aus in England and their pathetic effort in the Windies after winning 22 of 25 lead up games.
For a nation that has had so many class players and been ranked number one for so long their WC performances are nothing short of pathetic

I know nothing can be done about past results, that was in jest but im serious about making our grounds the same size. Bring the ropes right in and let our players boost their averages

Bring the ropes in? Pigs arse.

Our D Grade used to use Henley Footy oval years ago, we barely had enough cones to mark the boundary so the pockets were the only areas lined with markers. The sides and straight were too the fence. Good enough for me, good enough for them.

I don't care how big the oval de Villiers was on, he still had to get them.

Pfft...fine leg to fine leg. The skipper wouldn't give me a bowl, so I figured I better keep asking. ;)

My immediate thought for likeness was Ferg, Burns would probably be above him on the pecking order though, maybe being the once off and given where we are on the table, Jobby might be given a gig???

Doesn't Ferg play for the Renegades?
Its out of Burns or Smarsh. Maybe they will take burns cause the Heat are out of the bash.

Renegades are out too, they wont let the BBL govern their thoughts, not this close to the World Cup.

Oh dear, White IMO is an in-between player, very much like North was, excellent at domestic level but disappointing at the next level.
North had some handy knocks early but was given far too many opportunities for my liking, especially given the talent that was floating around at the time.
