I agree Healy is the Aussie Nasser in Summer. Commentators are so important as its near impossible to watch all 540 deliveries but it will always be on one TV so I can at least hear it

Indeed he his. Just wanted to call for a review for LBW to a ball that hit the middle of Watsons bat.

Anyway, until Aust can find some genuine Test standard batsmen with a technique capable of surviving a decent period of time, it's gonna be some lean years ahead.
imo, Watson, Warner, Kawahja and Smith just wont cut the mustard at this level.
Which leaves Rogers who looks ok but at 35 wont be around for more than a few years and Clarke with his back problems may also have his days numbered ?

Disagree about the assessment of Kawahja's technique. His mental application though...

Khawaja is shocking. He is so bad Id rather have Hughes.

I don't mind Taylor, Slater and Healy, but find that the latter two try (and often fail) to be funny in the box. I really can't understand why some people like Mark Nicholas though. He's a twat.

Richie is still the benchmark to me.

Of the English commentators I prefer Holding, Gower & Botham and back here in the studio prefer Chappell.

Healy, Taylor, and Brett Lee have added nothing this series.

I especially love Gower's work, and Holding is pretty good too. Botham can come across as a bit of a douche, but I would too if I'd been knighted. I do like his views on substitute fielders though.

Chappelli is fantastic. He says what he thinks, and sticks to his guns.

I believe he did. It's pretty apt using Pietersen and 'cock' in the same sentence.

Nope. Not even the oldest Australian I don't think

Chris Rogers became the second oldest Australia batsman after Arthur Richardson to hit a maiden century, at 35 years and 344 days. Arthur Richardson was 37 years and 351 days old when he hit his first and the only century of his career, in the Ashes Test at Leeds in 1926.

Think they said he is the second oldest Aussie.
I know Nourse from South Africa was over 40 and have a feeling Peter Kirsten and Pat Symcox were in their very late 30's

Took a couple of views but faint mark there. I think if there is a mark, you can safely say it is correct. Its the ones that dont show up that create controversy. So different listening to atherton describe what happened calmly as opposed to hussain doing a healy and barracking for it.
