Does the third ump at any stage give a reason and explain why he gave it out?

A new low for the Ashes. Trott not appealing from the best view point says a lot. Never been more certain a decision would be over turned. Really feel for Uzi :(

Because the umpires original decision was out, the third umpire needs to see evidence that it was 100% not out. Apparently the 3rd umpire couldn't find enough evidence that it wasn't out.

If the umpire in the middle had given it not out and England called for a review, the 3rd umpire wouldn't have had enough evidence to give it out.

Work that out.

Im pretty sure there was one earlier in the series where it was overturned on basically no evidence but a noise. Dont remember which one there has been so **** many of them
