Hope the clowns who chose to recruit him instead of Warner no longer have jobs

Pretty tough on Blizzard IMO. Came over last year not noted as a SS batsman and made 610 runs at 40ish.

Agreed out of form but 610 in your first year of consistant SS cricket is a handy start

Nice to see one of our bats putting their hand up. I'm still not overly happy with a side that has Christian at 6. I still think he's a bowler firstly and if so should be good enough to be one of 4 main bowlers. If we could find one more batsman (opener perfect) to allow him to bat at 7 and our keeper at 8 we'd have a far more solid looking batting lineup. And we could stop this thinking of who to have as our bowlers based on their batting as much as their bowling.

Harris
?
Klinger
Ferguson
Cooper
?
Christian
Ludeman/Crosthwaite
Lyon
Putland
George

Looks fine to me if those question marks can be filled with genuine first class batsmen. As for recruiting batsmen, I can't blame anyone who is in their current side for not coming here. Why would you want to have to bat with the tail anytime you made more than 50?
