If the Redbacks lose this match from the position they were in they should be investigated for match fixing.
Fair dinkum, considering the scores in the 1st 3 innings of the match, 369 should be way out of reach for a team batting on a 4th day pitch but this is the redbacks we're talking about in the field i suppose.

This will be 8 outright losses. The other 2 games were an outright win when we were forced to follow on in Tassie and.... can't remember. Uncompetitive in Shield cricket again!

I celebrated the T20 win, was great, but wall paper over big cracks

We are the masters of losing from any position ha ha, The only outright win we got was from the un winnable position go figure. Time for a massive review into cricket in this state from grass roots - first class. Its become a long painful joke !

Still, a win would have only papered over the cracks. At least if we lose which is likely, it will provide a clearer indication of where we're at (although that indication is pretty clear anyway -SA cricket is a massive joke and has been for the greater part of the last 15 years).

All over bar the shouting, Tassie win by 4 wickets

This was our worst loss for the year

To set a side 369 to get and have it done EASILY is pathetic

Tassie showed what it is like to put value on wickets and build partnerships

It was Manou's last game yet there seemed no fight in our bowling attack today, perhaps they are sick of doing it all

Dont expect Berry to bring miracles cause it wont happen in a long time

Perhaps some just sit back and wait for their payments from the big bash in India, huge pay packet, as long as u perform in the 20/20 comp
you dont have to be competetive in any other form cause u get a trip to India and although the money is slow coming you know you will get a windfall

If they are going to have 13 district teams, have 2 divisions with a relegation system. Then they are treated on their merits and over time, the Div 1 teams will attract the best talent and play at a better standard to prepare them for shield cricket

Need something to change dramatically because lets be honest there is very little in District Teams that would make any difference whatsoever to a Shield side

Talent identification has failed, young players playing in the country associations dominating are not getting identified. For example 15 year old lad in Port Augusta plays A-grade town cricket as a keeper who performance for his age at that level is impressive. And also scored back to back 100's in the same day in separate grades. In his own grade of u/17's had to retire at 50 then come back in when everyone else is out before him. This lad has not played any grade cricket yet or approached from a college yet. This is one example and area needs to be fixed soon as possible.

This is why kids are lost to cricket. Most of them are talented at footy and they get them first and it is seen as the best option as there are 650 odd top professionals in this sport as opposed to 120 odd top professional cricketers
