1st ODI Aust v Eng MCG

smithy, I'm only discussing his innings tonight.

If he had got out early, we would have been in strife.

If we lose it from here (which we shouldn't), it will be because the later batsmen have failed, not because of Clarke.

Far from it being a 'me' innings, it was a perfect 'team' innings.

The credit should all go to Watson.
What grade do you need to have played to have an opinion?
PS I played to a high level

My point re grade is the majority of people on here/in general bag players/coaches/administrators, question their integrity etc yet havent been in a similar position in their life! Its like me being judge and jury at a spelling B. i wouldnt bag people for having a crack and being totally wrong if i couldnt spell that word.

Mate, call people idiots and then whinge when they fire back???

State that your opinions are worth more than others and wonder why you're under seige?

Stick to posting comments about the match and all will be fine.

Cheers ...

So anyone who doesnt have the same opinion as you is wrong.
I didnt think people had to play a certain level to have an opinion.
Obviously my 25 years of club cricket and level 1 coaching badge doesnt allow me to comment.

So the Australian players should never have listened to John Buchanan then ?
And why do you get to have an opinion but not others, have you played for Australia ?

there is a difference between opinion and the shite being thrown and M Clarke while he is trying to win a game of cricket for his country. The over reaction and pure tripe being conjured up by people on here is what annoys me. Its not that i dont accept the opinion they have its the constant unjustified character bashing of somone/team whlile they are in a position they have never experienced themselves

play on hopefully the Aussies win and then you can complain that clarke is captain next game etc etc ;)

Would love clarke to find his form. We need him firing if we are to win the world cup.
His captaincy seems good but his batting form is poor at the moment

thats better Jim, something constructive.

Ive been frustrated all summer like the rest of the australian cricket supporters however sharpening the knives and placing them into the backs of players who we have loved and been so successful is unjust IMO

Settle down everyone.

We're all entitled to our opinion regardless of how much cricket we've played.

In this case, though, the anti-Clarke brigade are wrong :D ;)

Mate have no problem with clarke the man or as captain but even you must admit he is struggling with the bat this summer.
Dont think too many guys are having personal digs at clarke and most of us are frustrated with his batting because he is a shadow of what most people are used to from him
