It looks like this one will end up in a draw which is a sad way for the game to end on our behalf. If we can't bowl a side out on the fourth day then we don't deserve to win. Bailey hasn't backed up his first innings bag at all and currently has 16 overs none fa 61.

Draw  Dont think so Only need about 5 rpo. WILL be a result one way or another

Am i right in saying they need 114 off 16 overs or have i missed something?

The question has to be asked why was Symonds batting before Carseldine and Doran ?

Win draw or lose Jackpot Jim was right 370 was a better target, as Queensland are on 18 points and desperate to finish in top spot and would chase any target.
Also too much pressure on the very young attack ?

Also why is it that Hartley always makes runs against us but he never seems to make it past 20 against anyone else?

You were right JJ they now need 88 off 18 overs with 5 wickets in hand. Carseldine was just dismissed by Bailey. Hartley and Simpson in atm and not much batting after that besides an injured Ryan Harris.

60 now needed off 12 overs.
This will be an Embarrassment if the Redbacks lose this and Manou will be to blame.

We needed time to bowl them out though. If you haven't noticed... our bowling attack is pretty ordinary and lacking in experience. Our most experienced would be Cleary and he is pretty ordinary these days.

My big criticism is why did he only bowl Habergun for 5 overs? Cossie came on and bowled ok going by the text commentary yet Haberfield bowls 5 overs and has been pretty impressive? Pretty sure he just took that last wicket as well... even though the awesome CA site managed to go back in time.

Bigger targets with less time to get them would force the batting team to take more risks. This would help our attack more than giving the opposition 330 in a whole day on Adelaide Oval.

.

Easier to bowl them out if they were forced to force the pace earilier in their inngs instead of plodding along at slightly better than 2 rpo allowing them to get the target down to a 1 day matck like equation of about 200 off 40 with wkts in hand which is very gettable.

Yes I know that they would have had to score quicker but we did have them in a pretty good position. We still wouldn't have taken the necessary wickets I don't think as our bowling attack is poor. Only bowling Haberfield for 5 overs early on was a terrible call by Manou. I would have had him bowling again before Cosgrove came on.
