hearts on fire wrote:Symonds hasn't made a hundred since January 2nd against India. He made 162*...... So it's been almost a year since he made a hundred.

He has made a few 50-60-70's but no BIG scores.

BUT if he makes a hundred here, all of his "bad form" and "off field troubles" will be forgotten.

He bats at 6. Doesn't get the same chance to make the big scores as the top order. Regularly making half centuries as he has been and has just done is his job. Super player who can change a game in the space of an hour.

Ive got a serious question. Is Smith trying to throw the game?
I mean he brought Kallis on 1st chage and they attacked him and kept on doing it. Then he brings him on straight away after tea. Please Smith WTF......WTF!
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

What a shot from Haddin down the ground for six. And Roy follows it up with a boundary, this is brilliant stuff.

Edit: damnit....why don't I keep my mouth shut D:. Roy skied one and he's gone for 57 but that was a handy partnership indeed.

Fair point Rod, no doubt Symonds is a brilliant cricketer and i think your right, he is consistent making 50's but i think i am thinking more along the lines of under-achieving to an extent...... he gets to 50 and could do so much better, but plays a stupid shot and gets out, just like he did 3 minutes ago.

7/298.

Haddin gone for 46. Another terrible shot, didn't move his feet and just had a swing, very good catch though.

Haddin went nuts with the new ball. The way he played the previous 2 balls wasn't all that flash either. Not very pleased with a soft dismissal at a vital stage of the match.

Might have 303 but not an over impressive batting display, too many of our batsman have got a good start only to falter before making a decent hundred, this could be the difference in this series

Tomorrow should be an interesting day of cricket......

Can Krejza back up his unbelievable performance from India?

How will Siddle go?

How will the South African's go batting on this track?

Stay tuned folks! ;)

It has been a good day of cricket so far HOF. Look forward to tomorrow. I love the WACA Tests because they finish so late, finishing at 4 I get to see a lot of cricket.

Nice partnership here, hopefully we can survive the last few balls.

Everyone except Ponting and Hussey have scored at least 12. The score of 339 in a day is more like the Australian team we have known this decade. But South Africa are in the match still with the 8 wickets.
