Yep, was there with Fat Alberton.

Both Fatal and I were ALSO at the game when Boof scored his first first class 50 (against NSW)!

Pretty small club I think...

(Took a photo og the back of Boof's head, i'pp post it tomorrow.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Going Friday, Sunday and Monday to watch BOOF Make a Double Ton in the Pura Cup.
Not there there tonight due to Curating Committments But Still vividly Remember being at the OVAL to see his 228 V NSW as an 18 yo 20 odd years ago and always knew that he was something SPECIAL.

Never Ever Going to Lose once they got to 150 is a BIG CALL Bayman considering that they were only 1 wicket away from the Tail coming out to Bat.

HOGG in the opinion of the Foxtel commentators had BOOF out LBW
The score would have been about 3/150 ?
SA needed about 155 of 135 balls at that stage
In after that was
CHRISTAIN first look for SA cant expect much from him
ADCOCK who is struggling
MANOU when was the last time he got a big score on the Adelaide oval ?
3/150 most prob have been 6/200 and 105 off about 70 balls

If BOOF was given out WA would have most likely won the game in my opinion
BUT
the umpie didnt and we won and the record books will show
an emphatic victory and the little champ gave us the innings of all innings

Im probably wrong but I thought we were on about 230 by the time the non-LBW occured. Hogg had already been rested for a few overs and was bowling at the Bradman Stand end. You're probably right though

i was there and will never ever forget it. standing in front of the scoreboard and just watching two almost faultless innings was just incredible. i always knew boof could do it but matty elliott finally produced some of his victorian form. i was only 1 year old when boof made his debut but he is my cricketing hero and i will never forget his 126 in a day nighter at the adelaide oval. who would have thought it possible.

I was there and loved every minute.... cant believe that bloke dropped the 6 that Boof hit towards the V.R. Gates... That could have been his chance to be known as the person who caught Boofs last 6!
