You can't make 3 changes I don't think, and you've got to have players to replace them. Konstas is the only one who appears an option at the moment.

Maybe Beau Webster middle order?

Hazlewood will go out for Boland already.

Khawaja out of form at the wrong time of his career.........will be given the series though so he can play a final test in Sydney.
Labuschagne...... has to be wearing very thin with the selectors. Against the quality of India what is his weapons to score runs.....
McSweeney........see Labuschagne. Not sure anyone could say what his plan is to score 50 runs.....not sure waiting for bad balls to 'noodle' around is enough at test level, especially against the best in the world. At least let him go down the order before being dropped.

Wham Bam thank you Sam Konstas on BBL debut got to his 50 last night in 20 balls

Marsh can't play if he is not able to bowl 12-15 overs a day, not like he is providing much with the bat anyway.

And 100 in a 50 over game against 3 of the 4 bowlers playing.........admittedly one wasn't that ok bowler in Bumrah.

Getting real hard to not pick him however.

Marsh is the one to make way for me, get Webster in. unless Green is not far away.

Doesn't look like scoring a run and can't bowl. Only so many players can be carried because they are good blokes.

Like in the Ashes if they start getting hit around a bit they will completely lose the plot, India aren't completely without a chance.

Geez if Head has gone down the selectors are going to have a hell of a time.

With Hazelwood out and the need to play Starc and Cummins for all 5 tests they MUST have a genuine 5th bowler.

Webster is the one to come in but with the way Marsh is batting you can't have them to in the same top 6.

IMO there will have to be 3 changes.....

Head, Hazelwood, Marsh out and Boland, Webster, Konstas IN

Khawaja
Konstas
Labuschagne
Smith
McSweeney
Carey
Webster
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Boland
