Is this Pant's (Gilchrist vs Pakistan @ Bellerive) innings that may make his career.

Albeit he shouldn't be able to bat as high as he had, major flaw in the rules.

Don't be silly, he was always going to bat in the top 6.
If it meant he had to bat at 7 he would have just kept wicket yesterday.
Just like when they brought in a replacement for Jadaja's hammy under the concussion rule earlier this summer, Saha was keeping yesterday because he could, not because he had to.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Absolutely.

They used the rules outside of the spirit of the game but they did not 'cheat'.

Albeit he probably wouldn't have taken one of the catches Saha took. Having said that, given we declared it didn't really make a difference.

I still don't think that a player should be able to sub on as keeper. I mean the unwritten rule was always that (though technically permitted) you wouldn't put a sub in a catching position.

That was Warner. Imagine how shit a bloke you have to be to have Warner give it to you when he's on your team.

He looked sore yesterday when throwing it, he's just gone off with his right arm looking pretty lame.
