I don't think Watson's all that bad. Seem to recall Warnie dropping a few there.

A bit rough on Watto, they're 50/50 at best., Lyon's was a team breaker though.

Mitch very unlucky not to have a scalp, bowled extremely well and making something out of nothing.

Love him or hate him, Kohli can back up his verbal crap with runs.

Will be avery interesting day 5 ... maybe another Adelaide like result if the captains play ball.

Only on the lower slower wickets.

His lucky CA are kind and they escaped the WACA and got AO, Mel & Syd

Haddin should have been going at Watson's drop catch

Yeah Watson and Haddin have struggled as a pairing this match.

All 3 chances they have had should have been taken by one of them (including Haddins screamer should have been a fairly easy take for Watson)

So far they are 1/3

Not good enough at test level.

Especially Haddins drop last night which would have brought in a new batsmen at the end of the day

If it was that easy, everyone would be getting 3 hundred in 2 1/2 Tests ... do we then mark Steve Smith down as well?

Can only make runs when they're there to be made.

Whether you are correct or not about flat tracks will be told over his career.

Huge session for Australia, get no wickets this session you would think India will be close to 475-500 and opens up a huge session and a half for them tomorrow, India get a lead of 150 anything could happen, especially with Warner injured

agree his doing well to get these runs

just personally i think he is running his mouth alot against what is a 'tad soft' aussie mentality.

Reckon we have really let him off the hook this series which may not have happened this time last year.

Whilst he is making runs whilst shooting his mouth off he'll keep doing it.

If Watto or Haddin had taken that catch then Kohli would have quite rightly been hammered for firing up the Aussies, so yes, as you say, he's been let off the hook.

Personally, I much rather someone having a go and trying to make something happen which Kohl does. Not that I'm saying that he's a Botham or Pietersen, he has the same arrogance to take the game on.

Good luck to the curry munching prick.

His average of over 100 at AO helps that.

Like i said his a classy bat but imho struggles on pitches where there is some extra bounce and when sides actually do bounce him.

This whole series may have been different if Johnson was willing to back up the first ball badger with a heap of short pitch bowling. Obviously at the time he wasnt ready to do so.

The Aussies have also tamed down their agression.

We havent saw any of the leg side fields, bowling around the wicket and short pitch attack we had seen versus England and the Saffies this season.

His done well against what he has had to face but i do believe circumstances have certainly helped his cause.

Don't agree, he's the most likely to get a wicket ... just needs to keep at it.

Hours play left today, Australia still have to bowl over 20 overs, captain Smith is already been done in he last test for a slow over rate, could be a real problem, think they said he got fined and a suspended sentence, if thats the case he wont be playing in Sydney
