The Ashes 25/26

lol

The operator of the Snicko technology being used in the Ashes has admitted a mistake led to Australia's Alex Carey wrongfully surviving an England review on the opening day of the third Test.

“Given that Alex Carey admitted he had hit the ball in question, the only conclusion that can be drawn from this, is that the Snicko operator at the time must have selected the incorrect stump mic for audio processing," BBG Sports said.

Any members there today that can advise on how quick the undercover seats filled up today?

I teared up! I spoke to a mate this arvo that knows his family well from their Flagstaff Hills days and he confirmed how great their family is.

Yep the whole family are rippers

Interesting first day 1.

Well done to Carey a special 100 for him, loved his emotion. Rode his luck a hell of a lot but that's what you got to do.

Like others Australia will feel they left a fair bit on the table but it's clear they wanted to play with a positive attitude and look to get on the front foot.

Interesting dilemma for the Aussies, obviously they would want to keep England in the field for a bit today but that also means Starc and Lyon being out there with the helmets on so not sure that does them many favours when they could be expecting a long day and a bit to bowl.

IF England are ever going to bat well its going to be today. If they don't get to 300 the series is over completely.

The Poms are in the box seat,
We will be out before we get to 350,
the poms SHOULD be able to bat all day & into tomorrow,
with this pitch, they SHOULD make at least 450.

They have one or two batsman who are up to it. I’m certain our openers won’t be as wasteful with the new ball and wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t make 300

I must be getting well old.......couldn't think of anything worse than a day at the cricket in this heat (unless im in a shaded area) when i could watch at home with a few cheap frothies and some decent food throughout the day :)

I'm on my own though as the 55k + suggested yesterday :)
