Tough going for the Aussies with the short stuff in the first session but end up 3/92 for the session with a lead of 313.

do we like this all out short pitch bowling plan?
Should it be outlawed?
I think its boring cricket
If we got served up this every test the novelty would soon wear off.
Watching our batsman duck 120k pies from Anderson and Robinson is painful, we are far to negative against these 2 in particular, stand up, defend and work it for a single, when one is only waist height pull it through the vacant mid on area, sick of us ducking b alls that are only between the waist and chest

I'd rather that than not playing at all.

Yes, it will cook their bowlers, they aren't Neil Wagner

It’ll filter in to a boring draw.

Good point Armie.

Robinson having a fair chat with Green.

Green just looks at him like he is a complete dickhead.

I think Green is right,

Also how bout the umpires take control, start calling some wides, is it above the head or is it not being able to play a proper cricket shot, im not sure on the rule but plenty are going a foot over their heads

Agree with you regardless of who is bowling.

I am thinking Foakes either voted for the Labour Party or has had relations with someone he shouldn't have.

Hold on.... so should short pitched bowling be outlawed? Is that a real comment/question? How would you police this to start with? And secondly, why would you outlaw it It's not dangerous. It's tactical. Good on the poms. Good tactic IMO. Go test cricket.

No im not saying outlaw it im saying lets outlaw 6 balls a fricking over of it, over after over, its boring.
Maybe the one day leg side rule of only 5 allowed on the leg side should be brought in to all forms of cricket. This probaly wouldnt fix it as they have 2 behind square deep, one in front of square deep and one at forward square one at mid wicket up.

So the Poms have given up on entertaining the masses and are just trying to save the test now?
This is absolute garbage stuff, I hope we just bat well into tomorrow
