They just showed a bloke in the pool. There's hardly anyone there which is weird given it's a Sunday.

YES finally a break through. Amir nicks behind for 48, unlucky as he deserved a 50. 7/312.

Full credit to Pakistan for showing some real fight today. Shafiq has been brilliant. Great for Bird to get that wicket late, we needed that.

Compare their crowds to ours, remembering the population difference. Pathetic history of attendances over the last few years.

Steven Smith dropped 2 catches
I reckon he dropped a couple of catches at Adelaide Oval previously ?
I reckon on both occasions it was in the night sessions
If so, he might have problems catching the pink ball at night time ?

Smith has previously stated he has that trouble at night.

As for the game, Pakistan may well snatch victory here from what looked like was going to be a flogging

Hey Riko, you've been telling us that Lyon needed runs on the board to bowl with some loop, well he had 490 of them and he's bowled flat at 90km/h when he's had the ball. Toss them up FFS!!!

Yes I would love to know the thinking behind him bowling flat and fast (and too straight at times aswell) for most of the day, he looked dangerous when he was bowling to Younus Khan during the little spell where he eventually eventually getting him out flighting the ball up, getting it under 90km/h and getting some decent spin and bounce.

Is Lyon worth the patience or does CA need to find another spinner? Even though our spinner's stocks are very low. Who should CA invest in or do we keep playing Lyon?

Yeah I know. Why do you think Australia has taken so long in finding another spinning talent? Did we just spend too much time enjoying the great years with Warne and co to not bother looking into a developing our next 10 - 15 year spinner?

Just don't think there were really any spinners there for CA to develop post-Warne, not that CA and states weren't looking for first class spinners, just don't think any were coming through - particularly wrist spinners.

CA seem to be heavily invested in Lloyd Pope though, and he was leading wicket taker at the 19's carnival last week so maybe he's the future option?

If there's anyone at the cricket today in the pool in their budgie smugglers, would it be wrong to have them drowned?
