SA 0
Vic 0.74

So fo the game
SA 1.19
Vic1.24

Compare that to QLD with 2.8 and WA with 1.9, WA also with a potential outright so could go well infront of us

Went today
The game was at the mercy of Cam White and if he would declare
His prerogative for whatever reasons to bat till stumps
Time will tell if VI conjure a win from here
However the game as a spectacle has snuffed out for SA , now seemingly out of winning contention

My intentions were to see day 3 and day 4
Thats all changed after the VI batfest , I wont be attending day 4 at this stage
Should I blame
White ?
The Curator?
The SA bowlers ?

Can kind of understand White's tactics, would be hoping to have a dash in the morning and then hope his spinners might be able to rip into us in the arvo. We still are a batter short IMO despite the first innings scorecard, lose a couple early and it could become an intetesting last session

Surely the best way to win a game at AO is to chase down a score in the last innings given that no one (Redbacks excepted) gets bowled out on the last day... hang on maybe they have gone about it the right way

Utter DISGRACE.
Have been a Saca member for over 30 years and going to games there for well over 40 years.
This will be the last year im a member of SACA.
Cricket is DEAD
Drop in pitches are a DISGRACE !!!!!!
Shield cricket has become a bore. (Its FREE anyway so no benefit being a member). Cant even sit in the stand behind the bowlers arm anymore. DISGRACE !
The one day comp is a FARCE that we dont even get to see any more.
The Big Bash is a FARCE that has NO relevance. No one could re call who won it last year. No one knows who is playing where.
That leaves the International matches as the ONLY games of relevance. Well thats not true either.
The recent T20 was a JOKE that no one cared about.
That leaves the Test match. Yeah that should be good but hardly can justify paying a years subscription to go for a couple of days to the Test.
Back in 1992 my membership got me into the World Cup matches BUT NOT this time.
Yep, its Goodbye SACA to me
:butthead:

Supporting SA is not a problem for me
BUT
JJ sums it up with all the external factors
No one day matches to be seen at AO of for a second season
A T20 comp where players jump from state to state , state allegiances compromised
Im a Brad hodge fan, but what the root is he doing playing in an Adelaide team this season

A quick comparison:

2014/2015
1 test match
1 T20I
1 2 day tour game
3 SS
4 BB

2011/2012
1 test match
2 ODI (and a further 2 finals)
5 SS
5 Domestic OD
3 BB

How has this complete devaluation of membership come about? 24 days of cricket v 37.

SA 8/431 DEC
VI 5/554
Handscombe 109*
Danny Boy 86*

Question now is
Should Botha have declared the SA first innings ?

White is now committed to bat to a 220 -250 lead now
Then have his bowlers bowl last on a ''''wearing'''deck

VI 6/591
Handscombe 128*[198]
Siddle 14* [15]

Lead by 160

It is the only way vics can win the game - if they declared they were at the whim of SA setting them a target

BEST might be a better word
MAYBE the most applicable

VI 7/607 DEC
Lead of 176
I was wrong AGAIN in my predictions
White is the captain for VI and Ive got no idea I suppose
