Agree, how can these two not have runners

The runner rule was one of those Geltlemanly rules inserted into the laws of cricket back from day 1 i assume. As the game of cricket has become more professional, rules have to be changed to reflect this. If a batsman gets injured, to bad to sad i reckon. Doesn't stop them from batting does it? they can still hit boundries and can still run as well, just not as quick, so be it. The runner rule has probably been abused too much over the years so i agree for the abandonment of the rule although it is only for international cricket isn't it?

In most team sports you can replace an injured player
Should be the same in Cricket

Whats going to happen when a fielder throws a ball and hits the batsman on the knee
The player is injured , and cant run , then this stoopid rule will be made to look stoopider

The Saffers pea heart is being well and truly exposed.
Not so lippy now Morkel after being pasted for 5 fours in the over by Clarke
Are Tahir and Clownveldt the two worst bowlers in world cricket?

He wasn't a wicket taking bowler, he just held up an end. Tahoe takes more wickets than Paul

The NO RUNNER rule is contradictory
Kallis and Steyn have been replaced with sub fielders
Should SA field with only 9 men ?
You can have a sub fielder , but not a batting runner, this is stoopid as the sub runs around the field
