I'd like to see for the time-being, Wade & Warner opening with Watson at 3.
With Warner, Hussey and Clarke being able to offer some part-time spinning options and Doherty doing nothing.. why not look at someone like McDonald? Slot him in at 8. His batting has improved in the past couple of years and he has probably the best economy rate in state cricket.
He may not be suited to Australian conditions as much, but i think over in England he could do a job.
