Regardless of result, things I have learnt from tonight...

1/ MJ Clarke- He. Is. Back. Thought the last dig was scratchy at best, but he gutsed through like a class player, and this innings is simply glorious.

2/ The Mitch- He. Is. Also. Back. When he bats well, he's on track with the ball.

3/ Matt Prior- Intense hatred.

4/ Dussey and Ferg- should both have gone to the WC, Ferg only a loose chance.

5/ Paine- a month ago he was the next Test skipper... Now? Painey? Painey? Where the eff is Painey?

Steve Smith has slowly been climbing his way up in my opinion, but if he bats aussies into a hole tonight he will quickly slide back down!

As i say that, he is run out for a DUCK

We are making it bloody hard for ourselves, really needed Hussey to stay in instead of throwing his wicket away. At least Pup is on strike.

Fantastic composure from Steven Finn with the throw then, could have easily gone with the initial thought to have a go and get it in as quick as possible, but re-adjusted and went with the underarm throw to make sure of it.
