Hypothetically speaking of course.
of coursechasing 300 off 50 overs is a marathon not a sprint! stability is the key!
No, chasing 300 off 50 is a run a ball, not 36 off 57.
If it was a once off I don't think anybody would bother to criticise but it's every game.
Or maybe he's just unliked.

so clarke had to throwi his wicket away cos we hd wickets in the shed![]()
whats to say we dont loose 3 quick wickets and games over?
you idiots
Jim05 your the biggest no idea nuffy, do us all a favour and go play with trafficpurch and HoF can follow
You must be the president of the clarke fan club you idiot.
If it wasnt for wattos sensational innings we would be screwed.
Watto needed some support out there and clarke is padding the spinners away for dot balls.
Give me a break clarke should not be in this side

Footy Smart wrote:its a team game, each member plays their role. He played his role in the 100 run partnership which went at almost run a ball with field back..... for this 'team' to chase 300, they need the big runs scorer, the stability and the finisher! Clarke provided the stability and support got the big run scorer in watson now the team needs to finish
simple really

Clarke did that perfectly and put us in a position to win.
Give credit where it's due. It's not a 20/20 game.

Too bad if Watson got out and not Clarke. Places a lot of pressure on the incoming batsmen.

As mentioned earlier R&B, if it was a one off then well played.
But it is every game.
The guy hasn't got the one day shots and I think most are fed up with him in the side hitting at a strike rate around 70.
It looks more of a me innings rather than a team innings.

hypothetically speaking, however if we clarke and watsons partnership wasnt at a run a ball we arent in the game..... i cant believe the morons on here who dont like the blokes when they get out playing silly shots, or batting to slow all while giving us a chance to win hahaha get out there and play the game youself youll see its a tad harder than the LOEs you played 10 years ago
