Hilf getting the ball to crash into middle stump not enough for Doctrove, that is a stinker of a decision. Was well set up in that over by Hilfenhaus and deserved his wicket.

Collingwood gone

I thought Haddin wasn't going to move for a second then. Well bowled Hilf.

Clarke just dropped a very hard one from KP. Last few overs have been very good from Siddle and Hilf.

Hauritz gets KP playing a pre meditated sweep shot, arrogant prick he is.

5/241

Big chance to get into the tail now with Prior and Flintoff both new to the crease.

Hauritz getting the big one! He's bowled well today.

Good captaincy from Ponting to bring him on he was just getting tied down, from siddle and hilf, and his ego got to him and he played a stupid shot.

Yeah I agree. Hauritz is IMO a decent bowler when used well. Might not take a lot of wickets but he doesn't usually go for many runs. I like it when he starts flighting them a bit too when needed.

The poms have had the rub of the green today haven't they? Meh, this sort of thing tends to even itself out. Knock them over for under 350 we've done alright imo.

I am surprised North didn't get an over or two before the new ball was taken.

Englands day no doubt
England has 3 quicks
and more importantly 2 spinners
Australia to bat last

Australia go in with 3 bowlers and a serial straight breaker and part time tweakers

The turning point of this game was the toss

yeah i agree Englands day and mainly due to there batting first.

For Australia to be a winnable position we are probably now going to have to hit 450+ in the first innings to be any kind of chance to chase down runs on a turning 5th day wicket.

I think we will require at least a 100 run lead after the first innings.
