When we do it againsts the likes of WA and VIC time to get excited, not the NSW 2nd XI

We didn't just beat them though mate, we gave them a royal rogering. THat's what we should have done.

I think it is a great result, something we should all be excited about. That's the third time in the last few weeks we have had a win worth cheering for, it makes for a positive future. Particularly when, in this case, it was done with players performing who are more than likely to play a lot more cricket for SA than anyone else.

Well done Redbacks.

Certainly significant progress made for the Redbacks. In ideal world we would have done it with local talent, but at the blokes we've brought in, for once, are settling in and playing good cricket.

It's Bird and yes he has actually been called before as well. He did a lot of work on his action and earlier on in the Franger he was picking up a lot of wickets. I reckon he is falling back into old habits and he is copping stick and starting to peg it again. I thought I saw a suspicious one from Tait as well, the elbow looked as crooked as. At least someone born in NSW managed to see one of his deliveries!

Jeez we've been poor in the Franger for a long time now. BTW, who got man of the match? Cooper the obvious bet but Cleary bowled really well and not without a chance.

surely that is incorrect, Khan made 29 off 58 balls. Did take the catch tho too get Warner out, was a cracker! Manou made a quick 48 not out, Dan Christian made 32 not out off 17 balls, Cleary took 3/29 off his 10 overs...There is no chance that Khan got a vote, surely he didnt!

Pretty sure Kahn DID get 1 vote for his 29, 1 catch and 1 run out.
They did say it was a toss up for 3rd between 3 - 4 players.

Fair enough, but that is a disgrace, he should not have got even close! Christian got a wicket or two aswell didnt he aswell as his quick cameo at the end... 29 off 58 balls, and gets a vote! From now on i will not take any notice of the votes

He did get that 1 vote, and I thought it should have gone to Cleary, his changes of pace worked well for him and was instrumental in that 6/26 NSW lost.

Definitely agree that Cleary was stiff to miss out.

Kahn was good no doubt, handy runs and brilliant in the field but it wasn't worth a vote. Good to see Cleary back in a bit of form after struggling early in the season.
