FD88 wrote:Hate to say it but it's classic Michael Clarke. We lose a wicket, he goes for something ambitious as if trying to immediately snap the momentum back and it rarely comes off. He has cut a lot of this stuff out of his game in recent times but for mine his ability to pick the right approach at vital stages is still a clear weakness. It was a very good knock and without it we'd be in much bigger trouble than we are, but he could've had another ton today. -_-

As much as i hate to i have to agree with that. I rate Clarke so very highly but he needs to get rid of this aspect of his game. He such a wonderful cricketer and too often we don't get to see as much of him as we should.

Symonds must get a big score soon or he would be just about be gone, doesn't matter how many he saves in the field.

You'd really think with the digital channels available that we would still be able to watch the cricket. Unfortunately we have the f*cking News. If people want the news they can change the channel FFS

Why do channel 9 need the news on anyway? They should have their news at 8:00pm or 9:00pm because channel 7 have the news on already.

Exactly. Hopefully with the digital channels available this crap won't happen in the future. So frustrating

The only time Roy has made runs in the last six months and we can't watch it because of the news!

Yeah what's the bet Roy smashes a few around during the news break.

This is why I love Foxtel.

Me too. If the free to air stations won't show it properly then it should be on pay TV.

Roy 25* now.

This is working by the way. Probably a bit late though.

Haddin just pulls Ntini for 4. He's a super player. Unfortunately he is compared to Gilchrist a lot but he is a better batsman than any keeper i have seen for Australia other than Gilly.

Yeah people are quick to bag the pay tv stations for monopolising sport but at least they show what they're supposed to show. If fta can't do it right, they don't deserve it. Btw have to say the cricket looks good in HD. Still some compression evident but it's better than the usual standard of HD we're used to I reckon.

I'd suggest Roy has already done enough to justify his spot in the side. He is a brilliant cricketer.

Yes he is a very good cricketer but he is very ON and OFF...... isn't consistent enough.

Symonds hasn't made a hundred since January 2nd against India. He made 162*...... So it's been almost a year since he made a hundred.

He has made a few 50-60-70's but no BIG scores.

BUT if he makes a hundred here, all of his "bad form" and "off field troubles" will be forgotten.
