proves you have nfi because unless it is against the redbacks (recently)you usually need at least 270 to be relatively safe at the adelaide oval & even then you could get beaten easily

Sides making 203 in any International o/d day game on any pitch would struggle to defend it.

nostra dogus watcheres great call was watching the aussie innings this arvo at work and said that the pitch looked hard to bat on once the ball was a few overs old ..it lost its shine and hardness after about then it became very hard to get away with out a bit of risk ...BUT i am totally enjoying these close bowler dominated matches they are a very entertaining and a change to the batting dominant games where most of the time u see the side batting 1st knock up 300 then watch the team batting second get bowled out cheaply chasing a huge score ...at least when the pitches are a bit 2 paced or slow you get to watch a good contest between bat and ball rather than flat track bullies just swinging in to anything and getting away with it ..i say keep up the good work aussie curators its enjoyable to watch :D :D :D

Ahhhhh it's nice to be right for once.

Dhoni shouldn't be having a crack at Sharma about his running. He should instead take his whole squad out for practice at running between wickets. They miss easy singles, their calling in tight situations is diabolical and they just plonk their bat over the line. They could benefit from constructive development rather than critique with no action.

I was on the hill last night at Adelaide Oval. Fair dinkum it was a very boring game until the final half hour. The hill had it all though, punch ups, lovely looking women, people sliding down the hill through rubbish piles, abuse @ Harba but when Gilly was getting involved the antics on the hill, thats when the hill eruptic. I think we should start a petition calling for ban of Mid Strength Beer at the cricket. XXXX tastes like sh*t. Bring back Full Strength!

Did anyone else notice that Punter and Harbajhan were pretty animated after the match when the players were shaking hands? They showed it for quite a while on the TV, but I haven't heard any more about it. Anyone know what happened, or was it a nothing issue?

and me, but lets be honest our batting aint that flash at the minute, seem to have one player in each innings holding it together, our bowling on the other hand has been superb, I know I was a big knocker of Mitchell Johnston earlier in the season but I think he has come on leaps and bounds. Stu Clark seems at a bit out of wicket taking form at the minute but is still a nuisance, impressed with Jim Hopes performance last night, got the aussies back into the game, firstly with his batting partnership and then with 2 quick wickets.
