Slow going at the moment. I think India will really fight this one out, Laxman and Dravid are more than capable of making big scores.

Roy Roy Roy!!
Beautiful delivery traps Dravid LBW. Easy decision to make.

Dravid 16 off 114 balls? He is in terrible form.
Opposition sides will always struggle against the world champs if they can't at least push singles to rotate the strike and keep the scoreboard 'ticking over'.

Lunch now.. how many times this match have Australia taken a wicket with the last ball of the session? Incredible.

Yes I guess he was trying to create that wall effect again. Anyway still you need to work the ball, get singles and keep that score ticking over.

Rahul Drearyvid
ex brick wall now stonewall
ex middle order who averaged 60 odd
now opener averaging about 35 in that spot

this test
21 runs
180 balls
2 boundaries
batting time about 3 hours +

Cant write off guys with his talent, but his batting is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The brick wall used to be the guy that batted middle order and several times
played those epic innings and won a couple of impossible tests for India

Drearyvid needs to play positive and change that dead bat of his + read STAN + R/MARTY posts.

I should have said:
c Clarke b Clark

You're right RM.
He looks like a trundler and I suppose that plays a part in his success.
Batsmen get fooled and think this guy is hack, but soon realise that
he's a great bowler when they are trudging back to the sheds.
Reminds me of McGrath in that his bowling action isn't flash but the ball
goes where he puts it.

Although Ganguly is making some runs, his batting is very streaky at times.

Always has been and always will be.

I love watching him play.

Personally i think the side needs to change next test. Sehwag needs to be looked at and Pathan is a must for RP Singh IMO. Is Yuvraj in trouble? Sehwag to open with Jaffer, Dravid 3, Sachin 4, Ganguly 5 and Dravid 6? Or maybe just a straight swap for Sehwag for Jaffer?

Ganguly and Dhoni in at the moment.

Dhoni has since departed, MJ finally gets his wicket.

Hoggy bowling very well.
Will India fail to make 200 again with their impressive (on paper) batting line-up?

They definitely do need to look at the batting line-up. Fix up the openers, having Dravid in there struggling to even push singles and scoring 16 off 114 or whatever it was just won't work.
Sehwag needs to come in even if his form hasn't been great, why isn't Pathan playing either?

MJ gets Kumble caught behind.

Finish it off tonight boys and enjoy a day off tomorrow, it's been tough work in this heat.

Unbelievable fielding! Hussey to Hogg and H Singh is out at the non-strikers end without even facing a ball. That is one of the best run-outs you will see this summer, simply brilliant.

Diamond duck!

9/157
HARBIJAN out 0 run out didnt face a ball , bad luck big mouth !
Gangully out

And let me guess CLARK does not get a crack at the tail again.

As usual the flat track superstars are piss weak on pitches that assist the bowlers.
