Of course they had 2 left, they got all the favourable decisions and didnt need to use one

Come on Jimbo it's more the fact Watson and Clarke wasted there's! And England don't.

Problem is do we select cricketers who are wicket keepers , bowlers, batsmen and allrounders
Or should we pick cricketers who are good at referrals ?

In all seriousness though why bother having umpires out there

The footage gets back to the third umpire almost on instant, why not just get them to ajudge every ball and intervene when needed.

At least then zero howlers would affect the game.

What you said WHUFC. If they are going to use technology then use it for all dismissals and take it away from the teams to decide. If you take / use your quota in good faith because Captains or batsman have to make an almost split decision and they are all used up it is then when your bound to get a howler like the Broad non-decision then it can change matches and just cause bad feeling and controversy!

Listen to you pricks. Great test to watch. On paper our team is inferior to the poms. Yet we pushed to the end and nearly jagged a result. A win would have been perfect but not to be. Can't wait for the second test.

Poor way to finish a test but it was out as you could tell by Haddins reaction afterwards. Not what DRS was intended for but what can you do. Be much better if it came down to an umpires call.

How embarrassing is it watching PAID officials (umpires and referee) receiving medallions or mementos or whatever at the after match presentations.
Thought the game was about the players.
May as well get the curator up there, Joe the camerman, the Hot Dog seller, at least none of THEM stuffed up .
