Dont be so sure. Would cost the Government millions, for certain, but it wouldn't cost $585 million.

what will probably happen is that they will build a swanky new stand on the bradman stand site, then just do up the remaining stands

Other than the Western stand, there are no remaining stands.

No. I'm observing that in the same day the Premier is saying the state needs a new image, there is talk of pulling funding from various projects in various states of completion.

Adelaide oval should hold 50,000 people and AFL should be played there. Docklands, MCG, SCG, Even AAMI Park are all near the city. People have their head in the sand if they think that Adelaide Oval should not be rebuilt. It make sense to have everything close to the CBD and easy to get home from. West Lakes is a joke the rail line was removed and not extended goes to show how backwards the SA governments have been.

While almost all materials are being salvaged and used in local projects, the Adelaide Oval project is also committed to the local workforce and boosting the state’s economy, keeping skilled South Australians in South Australia.

Currently, there are between 160 to 180 people working on the project with 95 % of the workforce South Australian.

Whilst getting a Melbourne architecture firm to carry out the design work - which included them opening an adelaide office. Keeping the work in SA
