I know Kelly did bugger all again but I’d like to see him play again.
Head or Carey if available can open to allow Kelly to play in the middle order.

Kelly to me looks like a white ball cricketer

Nielsen would be unlucky to be dropped after his batting

Head will be on plane to New Zealand during next match so wont be playing.

Cant see why Carey would not want a hit before going for the Test matches there.

Neilson deserves to play as batter if that's the case - could even open?

He’s struggled with the white ball also.
Gets 15-20 runs and then continues to get out.
Can’t drop Harry.
Surely Carey can open the batting and not take the gloves to allow Harry to do it

Bit harsh on the young lad? He's hardly been given an opportunity in both forms - 5 games each in Shield and List A (apart from BBL where he goes OK). Deserves at least half the number of chances other blokes keep getting.
Thrown to the wolves a bit by being put in at 4 - should be at 6 to give him some experience. I heard they have been wanting to promote Manenti up the order but he has refused - great team player!!
Scott appeared to injure his left ankle quite badly in the field (stepped on the boundary rope going for a catch off Harper which went for 6) so not sure how long he may be out for?

I’m a fan of the lad but he does get many starts at this level but doesn’t go on with it.
I’ve mentioned on here before I think he needs to play every game from now until seasons end to see if he’s up to it.

Just looked it up - has had the grand total of 9 innings. Totally agree - let's see if he's up to it.

This is where the selectors have me baffled.

McSweeney captain? If they've made that call, how on earth is Lehmann in the playing squad?

Daniel Drew is sitting with the 4th most runs in the competition and the most for SA this season. Averaging 64 at strike rate 94 in the period leading up to Christmas batting at first drop.

Yes, he's had a shocking run in the Shield and was dropped for the last game before Christmas and not picked against Vic last weekend, which is probably fair enough. However, he was the 2nd highest Shield run scorer last year behind Bancroft.

He's hitting form for West Torrens - having scored a century last weekend on the back of runs in the T20 Final and the OD semi Final. I wonder if the selectors even bother watching?

Surely he is a player you want in good form, playing for South Australia and surely this is an opportunity to get him back in the Redbacks scoring runs.

I do think they should back in Kelly and I'm glad Winter gets a chance. Hopefully he isn't just there to mix cordial.

I noticed McSweeney captain wasn't sure if we was in the earlier games, turns out he wasn't so they have made a change (a sign Lehmann will be a cordial mixer? would give Winter a game if thats the case)

Hunt
McBerserk
McSweeney
Kelly
Winter
Nielsen
Manenti
Thornton
Buckingham
Grant/Conway take your pick
Pope

Agree Aerie, Redbacks treating him appallingly!

Think he made 84 for Redbacks in his last One day cup match  That deserves to be dropped!

Not sure, had not heard that. Probably is though as doubt Redbacks would make such a good decision otherwise
