I've already stopped watching after Head got out. Will keep an eye on the score and only turn back over when Johnson bowls.

Some serious batting from Paine and Bailey to drag Hurricanes back from 3/30 to make 4/188

According to Mark Waugh Pat Cummins could be a good number 7 or 8 batsman for Australia. Yeah right mate.

I must admit other than 1.5 Strikers games I haven't watched any other matches of this BBL season, I just find the Ten commentary team too hard to handle.

I'm not sure how it's possible to actually be worse than the Nein commentary team but they are. O James Brayshaw where art thou?

Great effort from Chris Lynn tonight with a match winning 85 from 48. The Heat were almost gone at 6/63 afters 10 overs then 6/94 after 15.1 (64 from 29 balls needed) with Lynn on 44 from 34 before he put the foot down.

Its an interesting one. Instead of looking for thr all rounder that really we just dont have at the moment, perhaps having a guy like Cummins in at 7 is the answer to the additional seamer.

Starc can bat as well. Lyon is a pretty reason no.11 and Hazelwood wood can also bat. If Cummings could show this consistently at first class level it could be worth a look.

I recall South Africa having Pollock develop over the years to bat at no.7. Just needs a strong and consistent middle order.
