Dumb by Warner. Yelled 2 straight away. Made Khawaja go for that.

With the ball not really coming onto the bat I can't see Marsh making many here.

Santner bowling well again.

Reverse sweep/slogs working well at the moment, about 3 from 10!

Warner is far from the best T20 opener in the world. In fact, the best wasn't selected today. Finch's non selection is just mind blowingly stupid. Has the record and has the form. I just can't see an argument other than crystal ball gazing into the future. Smith is the problem in the batting order. Gets bogged down too easily and can't find the boundaries to make up for it. Just gets out trying to force it. If he plays then he bats 4 and comes in if we lose 2 in the first 5 or bats lower and lower as the innings goes on. In the last 10 overs I'd rather Warner, Maxwell, Faulkner walking out to be honest.

Agar's selection another strange one. Must be something they see in him but it's clearly not his bowling. Averages 42 at first class level, 31 with an economy of more than 8.5 in T20. He doesn't take wickets and he doesn't stop the runs. Zampa not bowling more than 2 overs was weird but we've picked 5 guys who need to bowl to justify a spot. Then you add Watson and Maxwell who are going to bowl most of the time, and often as effective as another option. Just one too many bowlers or bowling all rounders.

Could be too late, but this is my best Aus X1

Finch
Watson
Khawaja
Smith
Warner
Maxwell
Faulkner
Nevill
Zampa
Coulter-Nile
Hazlewood

Maxwell wtf! Perfect batting right handed you spud.
How many balls did he soak up trying left handed shots?
He could have swept a lot of them for six batting orthodox.
He doesn't seem to be able to sum game situations at all.

Warner running out Khawaja was the turning point of the innings. He was going along nicely until that, he would of won the game for us.

Reckon the picked khawaja as he is a left handed. Also the reason why Warner bats down the order.

Zampa definitely justified his position and should have bowled more.

Better off trying to squeeze an over or two out of smith or Warner than playing agar.

Hastings in for agar

Yeah, NCN isn't high on my list of faves but realistically i don't see many changes. Should have had Hastings instead of him.
