Being 30 kilos overwight as a professional athlete does not do his cause any good.

Terrible example and I for one would not play him until he is in far better condition.

Well good, glad you're not a selector, in form he is our best batsman.
Was good enough to collect a couple pieces of silverware in Tassie.
Maybe we would have won a shield or two if he stayed and people like you got off his back.

Spot on
His weight only becomes an issue when he stops making runs. As long as he keeps performing with the bat it wouldnt phase me if he was 200kg

Well, his form is not great, but as they say, form is temporary, class is permanent. His form will not improve if he is not playing. His not playing may have nothing to do with his weight, but I can not believe that he would not be a better and more consistent player if he was in better condition.

wicket seems to still be playing like a road
botha always declares to give his side a chance of winning. Hopefully Queensland make a game of it and don't bar SA out if the game

Cant see it happening TBH, pitch is flat as a tack and offering nothing, Queensland no chance of bowling us out and wont want to set an easy target.

After 3 days on King William Road
16/1139
South Australia would have a better chance to make a SS final if they played home games in my back yard

Can't believe people are still going on about his build after all these years. The bloke averages over 40 in 1st class cricket, he opens the batting for most state sides! Not a great start to the year for him pesonally but he will pop up with a big score as he always does soon.
