Sell out crowds now with punters last test?

So if they have said they are good to go, then play them, Clarke was saying in the paper this week that this is there Grand Final, and now there going to play a IMO a rank bowling attack, surely at least one of them could of still played ???

They have professionals to judge if they are right or not and they said they were not. Siddle actually said he hoped to be right but wasnt positive yet.

The same professionals that have been working to reduce the injuries suffered by the fast bowlers? How's that working out? FFS, let the bowlers bowl. I'm sure Sids would agree.

It's working pretty well so far

You pick your best side every time. Siddle is in the best side no doubt (Hilf was probably due to be dropped though). Rest them for the one dayers and T20 garbage but for Test cricket their is no excuse to not pick the best XI for every single game.

The rotation thing was always going to happen this summer with back-to-back Ashes series coming up next year - selectors will want to get a good look at our current bowling stocks, hence why Johnson has been gifted a game. I didn't expect the rotations to start until the tests v Sri Lanka though....

The same professionals who have been ignored by selectors? They have been warning of these injuries for some time, finally being listened to.

I wouldn't mind watching Punter one last time either... Hell, I wasn't even a teenager when he made his test debut.

Does anyone know why the Saffie players who played before the apartheid don't count when given a test player number?

I'm with you rod. Test is the best form of the game so you should pick your best team and rotate everyone through the pyjama formats. Who gives a stuff about them anyway?
