I don't blame Marsh. He's no good but it's not his fault. I blame those responsible for his selection. They have got it so right with the quicks lately but Marsh's continual selection is a blight on them.

While the bowling has improved, the batting has not, Langer better lift his game or he needs to be replaced.

Marsh made that ton on the recent tour of Sri Lanka. He didn't debut till then either. Either way, he's a dud and no way should he be in the side.

Cowan got dry rooted, hit him outside the line. He must be wondering what this Test Cricket is all about, 3 innings and 2 shite decisions against him. Hopefully they persist with him long enough for the ledger to be evened up, dunno if he's good enough or not at this level yet, but he's a scrapper who values his wicket, something that seems to be less prevalent these days

He is being coached by a similar type of player, so wouldnt surprise me to see him succeed. Hopefully he does!

Khawaja needed to make some decent runs at test level and lock his spot in rather than feeling hard done by because another batsman is now doing even worse than he did. There's more than just those 2 guys to pick from.

With no first class cricket and Shaun marsh averaging 1 at number 3 in this series with 2 ducks, tommy cooper is putting his hand up for that spot

It is if the batsmen aren't improving, that's his job. This is hard to judge though with our top order looking like a turnstile off and on the field at the moment. I wasn't sold on Marsh for Khawaja and Warner's hard hands look to be a worry. If JL is cutting the mustard then we should see Warner going a little less hard at the ball in the early parts of his innings because it's cost him his wicket a few times.

regards,
