NS wont care being bowled out with about a 180-200 lead at about stumps
You never know if Copeland bowls about 40 overs unchanged they could fluke a win

Sensational bowling by the Hilf this morning

Tassie would be happy to have a chance to win it instead taking the title with a draw.
Some rain is forecast for tomorrow so NSW had to declare to give themselves a chance.

Late shower is hardly rain.

Really good declaration by Kat but some puzzling batting tactics at the same time! Could have either gotten more runs on the board or had an extra 10 overs at them tonight with a bit more urgency in the batting esp once Hughes and Jaques were set :?

Poor captaincy for me, they could have had a 300+ lead with a day and half to for Tassie to hold on. Much tougher scenario, as they would have had to face 2 new balls and now only the 90 overs to survive and 1 new ball. If NSW had Tas 5/150 say and the 2nd new ball comes out with 25 overs to play the game is anyones! unfortunatly NSW has lost this game by their own doing since lunch day 2. Batted to slow with wickets in hand and dropped 3 chances last night

how could they have possibly been 300+ in front with a day and a half to spare? tassie batted till nearly lunch yesterday :?

2/74 at lunch so its not all done and dusted yet, still a chance of an intruiging finish

figuratively speaking, a day and a session then 8)

There is no doubt the NSW could be in a much better position than they are now. They have no hope from here on in

have to disagree, they made their 440 in good time, maybe a little slowish yesterday arvo, they thought the wicket was going to play similar to what it did all season (so did bailey) and hence went in with only the 4 bowlers
